This is a genetic disease in which the skin is stratified and injured by careless exposure. Raksana's disease is severe – wounds form in the deep layers of the skin, which is why her fingers have grown together on her hands, and her hands have turned into a kind of tightly bandaged stump. Elementary actions – holding a spoon, brushing teeth, buttoning clothes, have become almost impossible and the girl really needs outside help.
