Report

At shelters, homeless animals not only await their departure to a new family but also receive the necessary treatment. During recovery from anesthesia, the animals are particularly vulnerable—they may accidentally injure themselves.

Thanks to your support, the shelter was able to reduce risks by purchasing five entire cages where animals will undergo post-operative recovery. Under the supervision of experienced veterinarians, they will rest in compact enclosures and avoid postoperative complications such as injuries, infections, or opening of stitches.

Thank you for your support of the project!

About the campaign

Safe recovery: we assemble in postoperative animal enclosures!

Carl is a cute street cat who was fed by caring people, but no one took him home. Recently, trouble happened to him, and Carl ended up in the Pet shelter for treatment. He needed an operation, after which he recovered for several hours under the supervision of doctors. It is during this period that it is especially important that the animal is kept in a small and safe space — in the postoperative enclosure.

All our patients need such enclosures. Dozens of operations take place at the shelter every day: sterilizations, wound treatment, tumor removal, and emergency interventions. After anesthesia, the animal is disoriented: it may fall off, injure itself, or damage the seams. Small enclosures allow pets to calmly move away from surgery, and doctors to monitor breathing, condition and recovery. Now the shelter needs special compact enclosures for the postoperative unit. They will help ensure the safety of animals in the first hours after surgery, as well as maintain sterility and reduce the risk of complications.

Support the project and let cats like Carl come back to life in safety and care. Give your pets a calm environment for a quick recovery!
