Five years ago, Alina went on a long-awaited trip to see Santa Claus in Veliky Ustyug. But it was at this happy moment that disaster struck - Alina had her first epilepsy attack during the trip. Then she was unconscious for 40 minutes, she was given emergency medical aid.
Alina was examined and given a disappointing diagnosis - focal epilepsy. The girl had to switch to individual education, she became withdrawn, stopped being active, had few friends. All because of the fear of a sudden attack. Prescribed antiepileptic drugs almost do not help, the seizures continue and occur several times a week.
Every year Alina undergoes MRI of the brain, EEG, is examined by an endocrinologist. She is registered with a psychiatrist and takes psychotropic drugs, which the family has to buy at their own expense. Now she is scheduled for full genome sequencing, but this diagnosis is not included in the program of state guarantees and the family had to apply to the Foundation for help.
Alina likes to read about dinosaurs and the Perm region. She likes drawing, coloring, making crafts from different materials, collecting magnetic constructor, walking in the yard, going on interesting trips with her mother.
