Nine years ago, a gas cylinder exploded in Akzhuurat's kitchen while she was putting a kettle on the stove. The fire and blast wave not only disfigured the woman's face, neck, arms and body, but now it is almost impossible to do anything with her burnt hands.
Akzhuurat has three children. They go to school and are very embarrassed by their mother's appearance, although they try their best to hide it.
The woman has undergone multiple surgeries. Not everything went well. The problems of unsuccessful operations were added to the existing burn injuries. The skin cracks here and there, wounds form, and then new scars.
It takes a lot of money to rebuild, which the family doesn't have. Akzhuurat cannot work in this condition, and the benefits and disability pension are sufficient for minimal needs.
One of the clinics in St. Petersburg undertakes such a complex multi-stage treatment.
Let's help Akzhuurat recover her health after the disaster that happened to her many years ago.
