Thank you for your concern and willingness to help Asya, a little girl who is facing serious vision problems due to retinopathy of prematurity.

We are glad to inform you that the situation has changed: according to the decision of the medical commission, Asya's surgery is not required at this stage. The girl's condition has stabilized, and the doctors have chosen a dynamic observation approach. This is great news for the family!

However, our work continues. Thanks to your support, we were able to use the funds we raised to help Zuhra , another of our foundation's beneficiaries. Zuhra also has a complicated story, and your help has been vital for her.

Asiya needs the next stage of surgery to preserve and improve her vision

Asiya was born at 32 weeks of pregnancy. Her condition at birth was severe: the baby spent 7 days in the intensive care unit on ventilator, then was nursed in the neonatal pathology department until the age of 1.5 months.

At the age of 5 months she was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity - Asiya did not react neither to light nor to movement. But after three surgeries the girl began to react to bright light - from a lamp or flashlight.

Now Asiya needs the next stage of surgery. If treatment is carried out in time, the chances of improving the situation at an early age are great.

The family is in a difficult financial situation and the parents are asking for help in paying for Asiya's surgery - the treatment is paid for, as Asiya is a citizen of another country.
