Katya is a cheerful and agile little girl, just 6 months old. She loves musical toys and outdoor activities.
Her mom says that her little girl was a normal calm child, and it was hard to assume that she was in pain. In March, at a routine ultrasound in the baby suddenly found a voluminous mass in the right ovary. Her parents were shocked by their daughter's diagnosis and were very worried about her. By May the mass had grown and Katya and her family were sent to Moscow for treatment. Doctors at the Blokhin Research Institute decided that surgery was necessary to remove the tumor.
Now Katusha needs a genetic study "Immunity disorder" to assess all risk factors and immunologic status.
