Sulumbek is eight years old and has a twin brother. Both boys were born prematurely, which affected their health. Sulumbek spent the first month and a half of his life in intensive care because of breathing problems. Later doctors diagnosed him with a hyperkinetic form of cerebral palsy (Cerebral Palsy).

In this form of cerebral palsy, muscle tone is disturbed, resulting in involuntary movements. This makes it difficult to learn basic skills such as sitting, crawling and speech.

To overcome the difficulties associated with cerebral palsy, Sulumbek needs regular rehabilitation courses. These include physical therapy, bobat therapy, speech therapy and massage. These methods help to improve blood supply to the affected areas and metabolic processes, which are necessary for recovery.
