Unfortunately, we lost Murad. In October, thanks to you, medications were bought for the boy, which should have helped restore the functioning of his previously transplanted kidney. But the blood flow in the transplant was not restored. The damage to the child was too severe. There was a rupture at the junction of the aorta feeding the kidney, and the functionality of the kidney was reduced to 10 percent, by the beginning of the month the kidney failed completely.

Doctors fought for the boy until the last moment. A new donor organ was found for Murad, the clinic moved the waiting list of other patients, whose condition was more stable, the foundation began an emergency fundraising to purchase medications. Last night the boy was operated on, he spent a few more hours in the intensive care unit, and the fight for his life continued there as well. But Murad left us without regaining consciousness.

Will it be a consolation to his young parents that you and I and the doctors did everything possible to save the child? Probably not. But the fact that you were there gave them the strength to fight for the child and to believe.

Let's help save Mourad's kidney!

Murad was born in a small village in Dagestan, but he lived most of his life in Moscow, because Moscow is the only doctor in Russia who performs kidney transplants for such young children. Mourad's kidneys were denied at birth. Saving the boy was a miracle - he fell into the hands of this only doctor, and hundreds of people helped to collect more than a million rubles on drugs that were needed for the operation. On September 2 a corpse transplant was performed and the boy was soon sent home to recover.

And then a terrible thing happened. On October 6 my mother brought the child to the clinic for control examination, but their certificate of absence of Covid-19 did not contain the date of analysis and they were not accepted. Mom and Mourad went to the clinic by cab to get a new certificate. On the way back, there was a small accident, the cab driver abruptly slowed down, Mourad cried at first, and soon he became all grey and lost consciousness. Mom barely managed to carry the dying child to the hospital door. After that it turned out that the boy had a traumatic rupture of his aorta. For 4 hours surgeons "dug" this vessel and restored the blood flow. The boy was rescued, but his condition is still severe. The transplanted kidney works only on 10%, but it is still holding. All forces of doctors are thrown to save it.
