This is a disease characterised by abnormal multiplication and accumulation of special cells - histiocytes. This pathology in children is extremely rare, 3-10 cases per 1 million children per year. In severe cases, the disease is fatal.
Several blocks of chemotherapy and radiation therapy are behind him. Last summer Muhammad was discharged home, he was on supportive treatment, came to the hospital for procedures and diagnostics.
Not so long ago the kid was playing ball with pleasure, riding down the slide on the playground - that's the happy childhood! But the insidious disease has returned, Muhammad is undergoing chemotherapy again. In order for the treatment to work, he needs the anti-tumour drug Kotellik.
