On March 21, 2024, Fatima received a liver transplant from a related donor - her uncle. Both Fatima and uncle are now feeling well and are recovering.

Fatima underwent liver transplantation surgery – she needs to get to Moscow for a follow-up examination and pay for medicines

When Fatima was two years old, doctors discovered a rare genetic disease "tyrosinemia" in the baby. This diagnosis is not fatal – however, there is one important condition: it is necessary to start treating the disease in time and undergo regular therapy. Fatima's bones were severely distorted, the work of the gastrointestinal tract and liver was disrupted. She spent a lot of time in hospitals.

"Our daughter is very weak, thin, and sickly. We hope that after the operation, Fatima will get much better, and my father and I will be calmer," says the girl's mother.
