Bakhtiyor has a long term treatment ahead of him. The boy has already undergone one course of chemotherapy, but it is important to continue treatment. A common nasal congestion turned out to be the first symptom of a serious cancer - nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
"My son had a stuffy nose for a long time, but we had no idea it was so serious. When Bakhtiyor had an enlarged lymph node, we went to the paediatrician, but the treatment didn't help. The bump on his neck was getting bigger, and pain appeared. My son became tired quickly and lost a lot of weight. After additional examinations we were told that our son had oncology. It was a big blow to us," said Akmaljon, Bakhtiyor's father.
For the first course of chemotherapy his parents managed to find funds with great difficulty. But the money has run out, and the next course of chemotherapy is ahead.
Bakhtiyor is a citizen of another country, so for him the treatment is only paid.
Dad works at a construction site, mum is always with her son. Earned money is enough only for the most necessary things, so the family turned to the Foundation for help.
