Khadicha was born prematurely, and at the age of seven months it became clear that the little girl could hardly see. The girl is not even 3 years old, but she has already undergone two eye surgeries.
The girl is under the supervision of doctors and needs round-the-clock care. Her mom takes care of Khadija, while her dad works as a chauffeur. Her parents do not have the money to pay for another operation: she needs it to keep her eye health from deteriorating.

After the operation, the blood supply to the optic nerve and retina in the eye will improve - this will save the nerve and retina from dying, keep them stable and thus help to preserve Hadicha's vision.
