The Let's Do Together Charitable Foundation accepts and distributes Zakat al-Fitr products among those in need from among the Foundation's wards living in the territory of the Republic of Adygea.
Zakat al-Fitr (or Sadaqah al-Fitr) is almsgiving for breaking the fast, which must be paid to needy Muslims before the holiday of Eid al-Fitr (Eid al-Fitr).
Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the distribution of zakat al-fitr, so that those who fasted would be cleansed of the idle words and obscenities they said and so that the poor would be satisfied. If the fasting person gives this donation before prayer, it will be accepted zakat. If he distributes it after prayer, it will be a simple donation” (Abu Dawud).
This year, the fund set the payment amount to 270 rubles, which includes bank and payment system commissions.
