Your support helped Timofey to take a course with specialists, where the boy learned to re-control his muscles without contractures. There are still many tasks for rehabilitation specialists in the postoperative period. This is an increase in the achieved range of motion, strengthening muscles of the operated joint and training in proper walking and restoration of stereotypes of physiological movements of joints and muscles. The path to health is not close, but Timofey will definitely cope.

Timofey needs a course of rehabilitation

Timofey is 9 years old, he has cerebral palsy, mixed form. It manifests itself in severe disorders of motor functions, in mental development, as well as in speech.

Thanks to the constant work with specialists and treatment Timofey has achieved a lot. He already knows how to sit on his own, walk short distances with canes. The hand movements became more dexterous. Timofey has learned how to hold a spoon, he can take off his T-shirt on his own. The boy loves books, knows the alphabet and numbers.

In December, Timofey underwent hip surgery. And only long-term postoperative Restorative rehabilitation will help to maintain and acquire new motor skills.
