Ahmed is two years old. The boy has peculiarities of development. He has been diagnosed with Down syndrome, hypermobile and hypotonic syndrome. Because of this, he cannot walk and stand independently.

Thanks to the funds raised, Ahmed underwent a course of rehabilitation therapy. During the course he worked with a speech therapist, a specialist in therapeutic physical training, Voitha therapy, an orthopaedist and received massage sessions. After the course, the child became more active, his coordination improved, he began to understand and respond to commands. In addition, his speech is gradually improving.

To consolidate the results and continue the progress, the specialists recommend to practise and do exercises at home.

Ahmed has Down syndrome and needs rehabilitation!

Ahmed is one and a half years old. He has been diagnosed with Down syndrome, hypermobile and hypotonic syndrome. The baby cannot walk and stand on his own. Specialists recommend regular courses of rehabilitation.

Early and adequately conducted rehabilitation is very important for a child with such a diagnosis. In this case, he will go through all the stages of development of a normal child - learn to walk, talk, dress, go to school and institute. Although it may take more time and require additional efforts.

In countries where rehabilitation of children with Down syndrome and early help are well developed, the presence of higher education in such people is not surprising. Hence, mental retardation and Down syndrome are not equal and a lot depends on proper early rehabilitation.
