Nicole and her mom are overjoyed! Now the girl stands confidently in her new devices, which means that her musculoskeletal apparatus will develop correctly and Nicole will have a good chance to walk on her own.

It was a long process - first mom and Nicole came to Moscow to take impressions from doctors, then there were long weeks of waiting for doctors to make orthoses and apparatus. And finally Nicole got her very important “armor”. We will continue to watch the girl and be happy about her progress and achievements.

Here is what the mom writes us already now: “This construction is very important for Nicole - to prevent contractures in the joints, for verticalization, and he also helps to strengthen muscles and bones. And now Nicole can stand! She is incredibly happy because now Nicole is learning about the world! Thank you to everyone who supported my daughter and helped her purchase these important devices!”

Nicole needs aids and orthotics on her feet to develop properly!

Nicole was born with a congenital malformation of the nervous system. Nicole has spina bifida - a split spine.

Almost immediately, the baby underwent surgery to excise a spinal hernia, followed by several more surgeries to alleviate her condition. Now Nicole is 5 years old, she is a cheerful and active girl, she loves to socialize with friends and play. But the girl also has big problems with the musculoskeletal apparatus. Due to congenital pathology Nicole has incorrectly formed joints and bones, the girl grows up and her skeleton also develops incorrectly: scoliosis, dislocations of joints and hips, contractures.

Very soon Nicole will need a leg brace, and an apparatus for her torso and lower limbs. All this is necessary to fix the spine and joints, as well as align the feet so that her musculoskeletal system develops properly. With orthotics, her musculoskeletal system will begin to gradually correct itself.
