Misha the dog underwent a checkup before his upcoming surgery to amputate his paw. The doctors found no contraindications and give a good prognosis.

Volunteers took Misha to a home foster home where he will stay until his full recovery.

Homeless dog Misha needs a checkup before surgery

Misha was found by volunteers on the street 10 years ago, and since then he has been living in a shelter.

In the summer he suddenly started limping on his front paw. Doctors at the shelter could not determine the cause of the limp, they thought it was just a bruise. But after a while volunteers began to notice that Misha began to move more slowly, lagged behind his companions during walks and was the last to walk. And in early November it became obvious that his left front paw was swollen. Misha was taken to the clinic for X-ray, where the terrible diagnosis was made - osteosarcoma - a malignant neoplasm.

Doctors give a good prognosis. Misha is scheduled for surgery to amputate his paw, and now he needs to undergo examination.
