With your help, dear tubers, we were able to purchase special needles for performing bone marrow biopsies for children with cancer!

The hospital department has a serious problem with the availability of these needles. They are supplied, but they are only suitable for older children; for the youngest patients they are dangerous, because due to their large diameter they destroy the vertebrae, which leads to serious consequences.

In addition, we purchased sterile Cosmopor patches for dressings. Children undergo procedures almost daily, so the need for these patches is very high.

Children with cancer undergo a large number of procedures every day; there are not always enough consumables for them, and some are not even available at the department.

There is currently a serious problem with the availability of needles for bone marrow biopsies.
