Vitalina is 2 years old. The girl has a neurosurgical brain disease associated with excessive fluid washing the brain (liquor) - hydrocephalus. Therefore, a special device is installed in her head to pump out the excess fluid - a shunt.

For the first year of her life Vitalina was an orphan, she lived in an orphanage, where all children with varying degrees of all kinds of developmental delays.

For half of her life Vitalina has had a family that understands the importance of intensive rehabilitation of a child with special abilities and therefore is actively engaged in her health.

With your help, the girl underwent a rehabilitation course in a specialized center, after which she learned to control her body, walked independently and now is no different from normotypical children

Vitalina has a brain disease. She needs rehabilitation

Vitalina is 1 year and 3 months old. The girl has a neurosurgical brain disease associated with excess fluid in the head, so a special device that pumps out excess fluid - a shunt - was installed in her head.

For the first year of her life the girl was an orphan, so she lived in an orphanage. But the girl was lucky and has already had a family for several months.

The foster parents understand the importance of intensive rehabilitation of a child with special abilities and therefore are actively engaged in her health. The girl was examined in a federal clinic, where doctors recommended her to undergo a course of rehabilitation in specialized centers to maximize the development of her motor and cognitive skills.

So far, Vitalina is not sitting or walking on her own, due to the underlying disease and muscle weakness.
