Stationery sets and sweet gifts were presented during the holiday to pupils of a correctional boarding school in the village of Yukki, Leningrad Region.

Our wards (children with hearing and developmental problems) were in great need of the school office, as many of them are brought up in dysfunctional and low-income families that cannot always provide children with everything necessary for study.

The Tooba fundraiser raised funds to buy stationery sets and sweet gifts for the kids. And to make the gift giving more festive, we organized a fun performance with a professional clown within the walls of the boarding school.

The children received a lot of joyful emotions, as well as a beautifully designed stationery set and everyone's favorite sweets. Thanks to the tubers, the holiday was a success, and help arrived in time!

Hearing-impaired children from a specialized boarding school need school supplies

The beginning of the school year is coming up!

Children with hearing and speech impairments from the Jukkovo boarding school will also sit at their desks. Most of them are from dysfunctional families: many are social orphans, and the children also have comorbidities. In addition, children from large families live and study at the boarding school. Parents do not always have the opportunity to prepare their children for school and buy them the necessary supplies.

The charity organization Umka has been working for 19 years, and we have been helping this boarding school for 15 of them. Now we are announcing the collection of money to buy stationery and sweets for 100 children of the boarding school. We want to make a holiday for the children: we want to bring artists and give them presents that are so important and necessary for them, and of course, sweets.

Let's bring the children to school together and give them a holiday!
