Fatima was born with a difficult diagnosis of spina bifida. At the age of 2, she cannot walk and has difficulty holding her head. But her parents are not discouraged and are trying to make life easier for the child. The girl needs regular rehabilitation courses, one of which she underwent in Moscow, in one of the specialized centres.

Fatima went to LFC, bobath and Vojta therapy, practiced balance on the Galileo platform. Also logomassage helped her to correct her bite slightly. As a result, the girl is stronger and more mobile. Her arms were very weak before, but after rehab they are stronger and more active.

She liked the procedures themselves, she was smiling, happy and looking forward to new exercises. After rehabilitation Fatima's mother exercises on the ball, strengthens her muscles with electrostimulator at home.

Rehabilitation for Fatima

Fatima is 2 years old and was born with spina bifida. Due to such a difficult diagnosis, she is on permanent treatment, undergoing periodic courses of treatment in the hospital. Every 2-3 months the girl is recommended courses of rehabilitation in specialized centers.

The girl's family has a limited income and her father does not earn enough money to pay for all the procedures, which are so necessary for Fatima's development. This is why they need your support. All the more so, these rehabilitations are of great benefit for the girl.

Fatima is very active and diligent, a real fighter for life! She understands everything, but cannot say what she wants. Spina bifida is a daily struggle, and there is no cure except constant physical and mental activity.

The girl's mother believes that after the courses with experienced specialists her daughter will say her first word. All the more doctors give a chance that Fatima will be able to walk.

Let's unite for a good cause and help this brave and diligent girl to undergo rehabilitation at Galileo Medical Center. There is nothing more joyful for parents than hearing their child's first word.
