At the end of June the rehabilitation of Alina, who has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy since birth, ended. She needs regular rehabilitation treatment to help her become independent in everyday life and not depend on help from others.

Her mother shared with us that Alina has enjoyed the rehabilitation and has benefited a lot. After the rehabilitation her daughter has become stronger, her physical condition has improved, her concentration has increased.

She received many treatments and combined this with walks in the fresh air and swimming in the pool. Besides this Alina attended consultations of a rehabilitologist, ENT doctor and an epileptologist. All this had a positive result, and Alina's mother says that she is still recharged with good emotions and a great mood.

Alina needs rehabilitation

Alina is 11 years old, right after she was born doctors diagnosed her with cerebral palsy. Unfortunately, she still does not walk, but sits with support and can stand on support, but not for long.

Alina is very sociable and kind girl. She goes to a regular school where there are five children in the class who are also diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Doctors strongly recommend undergoing a course of rehabilitation, so that the girl could learn to take her first steps.

Her mother says that her daughter was treated at the Nika Rehabilitation Centre, and she saw positive results. But due to the fact that Alina came down with a severe form of COVID (she had severe seizures in the intensive care unit), they need to repeat the course to recover from COVID and get back on track.

Alina's family is low-income, so mom cannot afford to pay this sum by herself. She hopes for your understanding and all possible assistance. Let's help kind and sociable Alina to recover her skills and move forward on the way of recovery and independence.
