Khadija is 8 years old and has autism. The girl does not speak, does not understand the addressed speech, there are no self-service skills. Thanks to the funds collected, Khadija and her mother were able to come to Astrakhan to undergo an intensive rehabilitation course within a month, which gave the necessary impetus to the girl's development and helped her learn the necessary skills! During this course, in classes with an AVA specialist, Khadija learned to sort items by category (clothes, vegetables, fruits, etc.), to arrange objects in descending and ascending order, so the girl formed the concepts of "more-less" and began to develop logical thinking. Also, the girl became more focused and attentive in the classroom, began to follow the teacher's instructions well, imitate, reproduce a small chain of actions, distinguish between identical and non-identical cards. All this indicates an improvement in the understanding of the converted speech. The instructor of adaptive physical culture taught Khadija to work out on various simulators, keep balance on a balance beam, jump, throw a ball, overcome an obstacle course and barriers, ride a scooter, a gyro scooter, a bicycle, ride roller skates with support. At the age of 1.5 years, Khadija's parents noticed that her daughter avoided eye contact, did not respond to the name, there was no facial expressions and vivid emotions. The girl became very restless, constantly crying, did not sleep at night, did not understand others, did not repeat words, was immersed in "her own world". At the moment, Khadija is 8 years old, she does not speak, understands the addressed speech very poorly, cannot show what hurts or worries her, has no self-service skills. In order for Khadija to understand speech better, develop self-service skills and be more involved in society, she needs a full-fledged intensive rehabilitation course, including various classes with specialized specialists, as well as treatment with hardware methods. We will help Khadija's family to raise funds to pay for a rehabilitation course in Astrakhan!
