Friends, you helped pay for skull surgery for 3-year-old Alihan! The baby had a developmental abnormality of the skull, which leads to a delay of PMR (psychomotor development). It also leads to hydrocephalus and abnormal development of the brain.

At home, in Kazakhstan, they could not help the child.

The surgery was done in Moscow, everything went well. The boy is feeling well!

Alihan needs complex skull surgery!

Alihan is 3 years old and needs complex skull surgery.

The child's diagnosis: Trigonocephaly

This means premature synostosis of the metopic suture.  Premature overgrowth leads to the frontal bone ceasing to develop properly.

This diagnosis is very rare, occurring in 1 in 8000 newborns.  This pathology leads to a delay in PMD (psychomotor development). It also leads to hydrocephalus and abnormal development of the brain.

The necessary surgery is not carried out in the boy's home country, Kazakhstan.

The doctors at Morozovskaya City Children's Hospital are willing to help the child, but the operation is only possible on a fee-paying basis for him as a foreigner.
