Little Aziret from Kyrgyzstan has a serious heart defect. Doctors already heard murmurs in the heart when he was born and examined the boy, but Aziret was referred to the Filatov Hospital for a precise diagnosis.

An operation to remove the heart defect was a success. The boy is doing well and went home. There is no threat to his life now.

Aziret needs heart surgery

Little Aziret from Kyrgyzstan has a serious heart defect. Even at birth, doctors heard murmurs in the heart and examined the boy, but Aziret was referred to the Filatov Hospital for an exact diagnosis.

In Aziret's little heart, two kinds of blood mix together, which never occur in healthy people. Because of this, not enough oxygen reaches the lungs, and life-threatening episodes of shortness of breath and lividity of the skin can occur.

Fortunately, such anomalies can be treated! This requires a very complicated surgery. Surgeons will be able to fix the heart, and Aziret will be well!
