Artem is standing in the verticalizer exclusively with his friend kitten. It is with the kitten that Artem dreams of performing a miracle - going into space! And the fact that the boy is standing is a real miracle for his whole family. Recall that Artem was born with a diagnosis of spina bifida, on the back of the boy was a hernia. The hernia was removed by surgery, but Artem can't feel anything below the hernia.

Artem's mother wrote us: "Our life has changed, but most importantly, Artem's life has changed. My son has begun to seriously prepare for a flight in a spaceship, so excited that he is standing and that he is taller than his brother and sister." Mom notes that thanks to the verticalization, Artem's feet have become warm, and his toes are now moving. Artem began to see and feel the world brighter from his own height! And the family has hope that one day he will take his first steps.

Artem needs a vertical leveller

Artem was born with a diagnosis of spina bifida, which is a severe spinal cord defect that occurs intrauterine, its causes are unknown. The arches of the spine do not fully fuse and the spinal cord "falls out" of them, forming a hernia. Surgery to suture the hernia is required in the first hours of life. Everything below the hernia, unfortunately, the person does not feel.

In spite of all the difficulties, Artem is a cheerful and curious boy! He is growing and developing mentally at the same level as the healthy kids.

Now comes a new period of development of the baby, when he needs to get on his feet. No matter how you slice it, a human being upright, and no one canceled the force of gravity. So that all the internal organs fall into place, so that all the body's systems work properly, so that the load is evenly distributed on the spine and joints, a person needs to take an upright position. Artyom cannot stand on his own feet, there is no support in them because of the diagnosis. But for children like Artem, modern, comfortable, comfortable and safe technical means of rehabilitation - vertical levers - have been invented. With the help of special supports, Artem can stand. The ability to stand in a special support will greatly improve the quality of the child's life. And also his hands will be free, and Artem will be able to play and explore the world from his own height.

An expensive rehabilitation device is beyond the means of a family with many children. The "Spina Bifida" Foundation organized a fundraiser to buy a standing aid for Artem. Let's help the smiling boy stand and develop properly!
