Sandra Kurkunava, who had a congenital malformation of the spine and spinal cord, needed rehabilitation and a psychologist.

Thanks to the support of concerned people, the girl was able to undergo a rehabilitation course. After the course of rehabilitation there is already an improvement, and according to the rehabilitologist her chest dropped.

After sessions with a psychologist, she was able to go to university and attend classes. Psychological breakdowns significantly decreased, and relationships with peers improved.

The completed course of rehabilitation made life much easier for Sandra.

Sandra needs to take a course of rehabilitation

Seventeen-year-old Sandra has a congenital malformation of the spine and spinal cord.

From the first days of her life, her parents did their best to treat their little girl.

She has already had three operations on her spine, after which the girl's condition has improved, but because of the complexity of the disease, surgery alone is not enough. She has to keep going through different courses of treatment to stay healthy.

Now Sandra needs another course of physical therapy and massage at the rehabilitation center, and also a psychologist.

The girl feels physiological discomfort because of the active restructuring of her body, which leads to psychological breakdowns. This leads to certain changes in her character, relationships with other people and peers.
