After a massive heart attack, Rashid needed heart surgery, an aortocoronary bypass. In the hospital, however, he was diagnosed with pneumonia. Specialists fought for his life for 22 days, the last days of which he could not breathe without oxygen support. In the hospital Rashid had another heart attack and after complications of pneumonia he went to the intensive care unit and unfortunately passed away.
