Children in orphanages need special medical equipment!
The 'You Are Needed' Foundation helps children and adults with severe health conditions who live in orphanages. Currently, several of these beneficiaries require special medical equipment.
One of the boys was born with a condition that limits joint mobility. He used to move around in a wheelchair, but after surgeries, he was able to stand up and began walking with adult support. Now he needs a walker to further develop this skill.
Two other beneficiaries also need walkers. One started walking after rehabilitation, and the other is recovering from a serious illness. Both can move with support, but without special equipment, it is difficult for them to be independent.
The foundation will also purchase a functional medical bed for a child with severe health issues. Due to seizures, he needs a bed with protective, raised side rails.
