Anechka was born as the sixth child in the family. She was delivered full-term, but due to severe hypoxia, the baby was immediately placed on mechanical ventilation. She was discharged home only at one and a half months old with central nervous system damage and developmental delays, and at three months old, daily epileptic seizures began, severely setting back her progress. Doctors later diagnosed her with cerebral palsy (spastic tetraparesis, GMFCS Level V).
Therapy could only begin at the age of one, once the seizures were finally stopped. Gaining weight was also difficult, as Anechka struggled to eat.
Now Anechka is 2 years old, weighing 9 kg. She looks around attentively, hears, tries to make sounds, and has recently started smiling a little—a source of immense joy for the entire big family. Following her previous course, she has become better at holding her head up, but severe spasticity in her arms and legs still prevents her from rolling over and grasping toys.
Her parents are doing everything possible and kindly ask for help so Anechka can undergo a massage therapy course to relieve severe muscle tension and make movement easier.
