Since birth, Safiya has been developing with delays in motor and speech-psychological areas. The girl only began to hold her head up at 12 months and has been able to sit independently since the age of two.
Currently, Safiya cannot stand or sit without support. She can remain at a support for a short period of time, but does not take steps on her own. The girl has also been diagnosed with equinus foot deformity.
Since the age of 10 months, Safiya has been regularly undergoing rehabilitation courses. Specialists now recommend that she continue rehabilitation.
