Lukman needs to have another heart surgery!

We’ve already introduced you to Lukman. In 2023, we launched a fundraiser for Lukman, who has been battling a severe heart condition since childhood. Over the years, his story has continued. Lukman continues to live with a severe congenital heart defect. Previously, when Lukman’s condition was particularly critical, local specialists in Kyrgyzstan did not dare to perform the necessary surgery. The risk was too great. Later, in 2024, the heart surgery was successfully performed.

However, the fight for Lukman’s health is not over. Now the boy needs urgent heart surgery again. Belarusian doctors will arrive in Kyrgyzstan, ready to perform the necessary surgery on Lukman. He will undergo a repeat correction of his heart defect. According to the doctors’ assessment, the surgery is urgently needed. The cost of the surgery is beyond the family’s means, but for Lukman, it represents a chance at life, a future, and the opportunity to grow up without a constant threat to his heart.
