Since 2017, the 'You Are Needed' Foundation has been bringing orphans from various regions of Russia to federal centers for medical treatment. The organization collaborates with more than 40 orphanages across Russia. Most often, the treatment itself is provided free of charge.
To ensure that children can see doctors on time, the foundation pays for plane and train tickets and arranges for escorts—since the children cannot get to the hospital on their own.
In addition, the foundation covers travel expenses for specialists who visit orphanages, as well as for prospective adoptive parents traveling to remote regions to bring a child with disabilities into their family.
Every trip is an opportunity for a child to receive treatment and a chance at a life without pain.
