Akmaral has cancer, treatment needs to be started!

Akmaral is twelve years old. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor—but there is a bit of luck in this story as well.

At home in Kyrgyzstan, over three months, the girl lost 12 kilograms: she couldn't eat, only lay down, and didn't even have the strength to speak. Her mother brought her to Moskva, found the best doctor—and therapy helped. Now Akmaral smiles, sculpts with modeling clay, and sings. 'Mama endures pain, and mama will understand everything, mama prays every night'—she dedicates this song to her mother, who is raising six children and fighting for her daughter's life in a foreign city.

In the hospital, they met another mother—she is also treating her son for cancer. She invited them to live with her and helps write to charities. A stranger became their closest person.

Most importantly, Akmaral's tumor is treatable. It is sensitive to proton therapy at MIBS (Sankt-Peterburg). Fellow countrymen are already collecting part of the sum, but they can't manage without help.

Treatment needs to start urgently. We need to find the required amount—this is a solvable task.
