Meri has cerebral palsy. She needs an active wheelchair to go to kindergarten!

Meri is 3 years old and has cerebral palsy. She cannot walk independently, so any movement depends on adults. To reach her toys, approach other children on the playground, or simply move to another part of the room, Meri needs help.
Currently, the girl uses a regular stroller. Meri is taken for walks, errands, and to other places in it, but she cannot control it herself: wherever she is taken, that's where she stays.
Soon, Meri will go to kindergarten, and later to school. There, a stroller will be indispensable: she will need to move between different places, be near other children, and rely less and less on adult assistance.
Meri needs an active wheelchair to learn how to move independently. It is lighter and more maneuverable than a stroller and can be propelled by hand.
And Meri definitely has places to go. She is very curious and active: she draws, 'treats' her doll, plays café, washes dishes in a toy sink, and comes up with her own activities.
Help Meri get an active wheelchair—so she doesn't have to wait for someone to take her where she wants to be.
