Aysha is only 9 years old. The diagnosis is anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
Before the illness, she was an active child: she loved cycling, drawing, beadwork, and gymnastics.
It all started suddenly—a sharp spike in temperature. A month before that, a sore appeared, around which the lymph nodes in her groin became inflamed. In Buynaksk, a dermatologist prescribed ointments—with no result. The surgeon at the clinic also saw no improvement; her temperature remained above 38.2°C.
We were hospitalized in Makhachkala. Two weeks of antibiotics did not help. The doctors performed a lymph node biopsy and referred us to NMITs onkologii im. N. N. Blokhina in Moskva. Chemotherapy is now planned.
To rule out hereditary factors, the child needs the 'Panel: Hereditary Blood Diseases' test at the Genomed laboratory. It is not covered by the quota; all external tests are paid.
The test will help Aysha receive the right treatment and return home as soon as possible.
