Lunalina is three years old. The girl was born at 24 weeks, weighing only 700 grams. She spent the first two and a half months in intensive care. She has DTsP and other severe health issues.
Over the past year, the girl has spent most of her time in hospitals: she has undergone numerous anesthesias and complex surgeries, two episodes of ventriculitis, kidney damage, and serious gastrointestinal problems. Because she is unable to eat on her own, a gastrostomy was placed for Lunalina.
The girl's family is originally from Pskov, but for the sake of treatment, her mother and father moved with their daughter to Sankt-Peterburg to be near the hospital where she is being monitored. Now Lunalina has finally been discharged, but after everything she has been through, her body is very weakened.
Due to severe gastrointestinal problems, the girl needs specialized nutrition, Peptamen Yunior, which is easier to digest and helps provide her body with the necessary nutrients.
Lunalina now needs 60 packs of the special formula. It is difficult for the family to pay for the required amount of nutrition on their own.
