Orphaned children from different regions of the country come to Moskva and Sankt-Peterburg for examinations, surgeries, and long-term treatment. But there are no parents with them who can stay in the hospital at all times, and the medical staff cannot provide each child with individual care and attention around the clock.
That is why the Ty emu nuzhen foundation provides hospital nannies for orphaned children. They stay nearby day and night: feeding and changing them, accompanying them to procedures, caring for them after surgeries, playing, reading, and comforting them when the child is scared or in pain.
The need for such help is constantly growing. In September alone, the foundation already received 38 requests from orphanages and hospitals asking to provide nannies for children during treatment.
Each request is a child who needs an adult nearby.
