Prepared meals for grandparents left without the support of loved ones

Nina Nikitichna is 73 years old. Due to cerebral palsy, she has been unable to walk since childhood, but for a long time managed everything on her own. Now, her hands have almost completely lost control, and she can no longer manage household chores. She has no relatives nearby to help, and her pension barely covers the bare necessities.

Moscow has many such lonely elderly people. They find it difficult to cook, and buying prepared meals or hiring a caregiver is expensive.

In 2022, the "Dari Edu" foundation opened a social kitchen in Moscow to help pensioners with limited mobility. Professional chefs prepare fresh meals daily: soup, salad, and a meat dish with a side dish. The recipes are tailored to the health needs and tastes of the elderly. Volunteers deliver meals to clients' homes—for many, this is the only opportunity to eat a hot meal.

We raise funds for food and operating expenses of the social kitchen so that grandparents can continue to receive free meals regularly.

Support those left without the help of loved ones. Together we can do more!
