Vova was born prematurely at 29-30 weeks of pregnancy, weighing 1400 grams and measuring 40 cm in length. In the first two months, the baby went through a lot: intensive care, mechanical ventilation, and a month of tube feeding. But by 9 months, the family began to notice that Vova was developing with a delay. After a lengthy examination, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
This marked the beginning of a series of rehabilitations, massages, physical therapy, and medication. Thanks to intensive treatment, Vova can now take a few steps with crutches. Currently, Vova is involved in chess, dancing, and wheelchair tennis, and is studying English and Chinese. Vova attends a regular school along with everyone else. He is a very open, kind, and sociable boy. He loves playing computer games and riding a quad bike.
To strengthen his leg muscles and improve coordination, doctors recommend that Vova practice on a treadmill. You can support Vova in achieving his goal!
