Daniil's case is very complicated. While most infants who end up on the surgeons' table usually have one or two cranial sutures fused, in Danya's case, all of them were fused at once! That's why Danya's mom, Yulya, was understandably afraid of the surgery and its possible complications. But not doing the surgery was dangerous as well. It threatened to cause very serious consequences due to cranial pressure. By the time Danya was six months old, negative effects were already being observed: the scan showed how his growing brain was pressing against the skull, causing the bones to thin rapidly and literally become porous. Gastroenterological and neurological issues also appeared: Danya was frequently spitting up, and he even lost his babbling... Surgery was urgently needed! And you helped the family save their son.

"Danya was in the operating room for 7 hours!" his mom recalls. "With the help of plates, his skull bones were fixed in the correct position. By the third day, my son was already feeling well and started smiling again."

Now Danya is at home, everything is great, the little one is growing actively, and his health is not at risk. The CT scan clearly shows that there is now space in the skull for his brain to grow. Neurosurgeons will monitor the child until he is 7 years old, taking scans every year. Since Danya's case is very complex, there is some risk that another intervention may be needed. The operation will relieve the pressure on Dan’s brain

Danya is only six months old. He needs surgery without delay. While still in his mother's womb, all the bones in Danya's skull fused together—and now the only way to fix this is with surgery.

The defect isn't just visual. CT scans already show how the growing brain is pressing on the skull, causing the bones to rapidly thin and become perforated. This internal pressure is already impacting Danya's life: frequent regurgitation, the first neurological problems, and the disappearance of babbling by three months...

The surgery will be extremely complex; it requires not just one surgeon, but an entire multidisciplinary team and many hours of anesthesia. But after the surgery and recovery, the parents will have a healthy child—with a beautiful, even head.

To make this possible, a special imported plate is needed to secure the bones in the correct position after the cut. And it is not covered by compulsory health insurance.
