A package with a life-saving medication for 17-year-old Timofey was delivered on time. This means that his therapy will not be interrupted. Thank you for supporting the young man and giving him the chance to fight a dangerous illness.

Timofey has a congenital heart defect, a single ventricle, and pulmonary hypertension. His heart cannot cope with the strain on its own. Recently, his therapy was changed due to his age, but there was a delay with the free medications. They are only promised next year.

"Thank you to all the kind people who came to our aid," says his mother. "Every box of medication is reassurance that my son will feel stable, be able to study, get a profession, make plans for the future, and not fall behind his peers."

Currently, Timofey is studying to become a programmer many kilometers from home at a specialized technical college. There, medical staff look after the students and the program is a bit easier. Timofey has many friends there, and on weekends he comes home by intercity bus. Thanks to the medication, he has the strength for his studies, walks, and plans for the future. Thank you for giving this young man the chance to live a normal life, to dream, and not to give up!

Timofey needs medicine so that his heart and lungs can function properly

Seventeen‑year‑old Timofey has been taking medication for pulmonary hypertension, high blood pressure in the arteries, since childhood, and that’s what keeps him alive. Due to his age, the doctors changed the boy’s treatment regimen, and now we need to help ensure there’s no “drug pause” until he can get the medications from the state.

Seventeen is the age when young people build their future, find love, and enjoy life. But Timofey can hardly experience any of that — his heart simply can’t cope with the strain. He experiences physical weakness, headaches, and fatigue (even just from an emotional conversation!). And he’s so out of breath, as if he’s just run a cross‑country race (even though he only stepped out of the room).

But Tim is alive! He’s studying at college, dreaming of one day getting a job and supporting his elderly parents in retirement. Tim’s family is large — he’s the sixth child; his retired parents can’t afford to buy medicine for their son, and without it, the boy won’t have the life he has now. He can’t miss a single appointment! And until free medicine becomes available, Tim needs us. So that his heart keeps beating!
