Ailin is a cheerful, giggly girl, very kind and compassionate. Early last year, Ailin's condition worsened sharply: she began to feel dizzy and her coordination was impaired. A medical examination in Kyrgyzstan revealed a large tumor in her cerebellum. Due to the high risk, local doctors refused to treat her, and the family was referred to Moscow's Burdenko Hospital.
The surgery was successful, and the tumor was removed, but histology confirmed it was malignant. The family has undergone seven courses of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, with the last one remaining.
Ailin is a cheerful, kind girl, the middle sister in the family. Last year, she started first grade and managed to attend for four months. She loves to draw and dreams of a Labrador puppy—her family promised to give her one after treatment.
The treatment was successful: the tumor stopped growing. However, the family (not Russian citizens) have exhausted all their funds—they cannot afford the final course.
