Three-year-old Lev returned home after auditory-verbal rehabilitation. And since then, he hasn't stopped talking for a minute. For now, these are short, simple words, among which is the long-awaited 'mama.'

Lev has had grade 4 hearing loss since birth. Recently, he began to hear with his right ear thanks to a cochlear implant. But despite the efforts of his parents and specialists in their city, they couldn't get his speech started.

'Thank you so much to everyone who helped my son attend such an important intensive,' says Elizaveta. 'The change of environment did him good, we learned a lot of new things, and received an individual program of home exercises to build his vocabulary. We came back home with an incredible boost of energy and with the word "mama." Before, when addressing me, he would only make vowel sounds – "e," "u."'

The other day, Lyova went to kindergarten for the first time. In the group, he didn't fuss and, surprisingly, let mama go home easily. The Vospitatel praise him – he plays well with his peers and understands everything he is told.

Mama is sure that adaptation in kindergarten went smoothly because her son got used to activities and communication outside the home during rehabilitation. Thank you for supporting Lyova and helping him start to speak!

Leo needs hearing and speech rehabilitation to start speaking

3-year-old Leva has been suffering from grade 4 hearing loss since birth. He recently underwent cochlear implantation, and the child began to hear with his right ear.

The sounds burst into his life like an avalanche. The parents immediately noticed the rapid development – the son began to respond to his name, showing when the battery in the speech processor runs out. If Lera's younger sister suddenly burst into tears in the room, Leo immediately runs to inform his mother about it. He also pays attention to all the new noises on the street, especially if they are made by large cars.

"My son understands almost everything we say to him, he tries to imitate various sounds, but he still can't start saying even simple words, no matter how much we study with him," mom says. – It's easier for him to show it in sign language.

The baby needs classes with specialists from a specialized center where they work with children after cochlear implantation. The earlier the speech is started, the fewer delays the child will have.
