Little Azamat from Beslan has a rare genetic disease, type III Gaucher disease. In a short time, it led to serious malfunctions in the entire body: liver and lungs functioned badly, and the child got strabismus. The disease is very rare and, unfortunately, there is no protocol for the treatment of such children in Russia yet. Currently the baby has a respiratory insufficiency because of the progressing lungs affection, and he is recommended to use an oxygen concentrator. The expensive device, which was bought with the money raised, helps to keep the boy's lungs working, it is very important for him now! Azamat urgently needs an oxygen concentrator!

The struggle for the health of baby Azamat from Beslan has been going on for more than four years. The first warning signs appeared when the child was one year old - the boy stopped gaining weight and his belly began to grow. At that time, parents had many questions. Now they have even more. At that moment they didn't understand what they were faced with, today they know that their son has a rare genetic disease - type III Gaucher disease. What they don't know is how to treat it. The disease has already caused specific liver and lung damage, strabismus, and other associated complications. Unfortunately, there is no unified standard for the treatment of children with this diagnosis in Russia, so we have to proceed with great caution. Complicating the therapy is Azamat's allergic reaction to medications. The boy has been seen in Moscow clinics since 2018. This fall, the boy spent almost a month in the immunology department of the Dmitry Rogachev NIC DGOI of the Russian Ministry of Health, where he was recommended the use of an oxygen concentrator because of the high risk of respiratory failure against the background of severe lung damage. This is an expensive medical device and the family cannot afford to buy it by themselves. And it is necessary to begin therapy as soon as possible. Let's help Azamat together!
