Classes and a tutor for Kirill: learning to communicate and be independent

Kirill is 10 years old. For now, almost his entire world fits within a single apartment: his mother, father, and younger brother. Home is calm. But outside the door lies most of his childhood—school, walks, new people, and discoveries.

Kirill finds it difficult to speak and manage his emotions. During moments of overload, aggression and self-harm are possible. That’s why he didn’t attend kindergarten and cannot go to school. A teacher comes for 45 minutes—that’s the entirety of his outside life available today.

But the situation can change. Kirill needs sessions with specialists and support from a tutor: to develop communication, self-regulation, explore new environments, and return to school.

The family also needs support. One of the parents must always be with Kirill. There is another child, who is 6 years old. The father cannot work a stable schedule, and the mother can only work at night. The family cannot afford to pay for help on their own.

We are raising funds so that Kirill can have more of a childhood: communication, new places, discoveries, and joy. Donations will allow us to pay for sessions and tutor support, so Kirill can interact more, gain experience, and become more independent.

Right now, the outside world comes to Kirill for 45 minutes a day. With your help, he will be able to go out and meet it himself.
