Dear friends, we are glad to inform you that the collected money was used to purchase a two-month supply of dressing materials and medicines for Xenia.

The Butterfly Children Foundation prepared a box for her with everything she needed: atraumatic silicone-based patches, spongy and mesh dressings, breathable viscose bandages, as well as creams and ointments for healing sensitive skin.

Regular dressings and proper care help her learn and not constantly think about her illness, which already takes a lot of her strength and capabilities. I wish you and your loved ones health, strength and faith in the best! " - writes mother of Xenia.

Xenia needs special dressing materials!

At the age of 13, Ksenia Beletskaya from Simferopol loves to fantasize - her creative nature finds expression in drawing, animation and modeling.

Ksenia's official diagnosis is epidermolysis bullosa. This is a genetic disease that causes serious skin problems: for people with such an ailment, any touch can result in serious injury. All due to the fact that this organ ceases to perform a protective function and itself becomes vulnerable. From careless movements, bubbles first appear on the skin, which turn into non-healing wounds. To protect Xenia, daily dressings are required - due to the nature of the disease, this is a long and difficult process. Ordinary bandages are not suitable here, they only injure the skin more - special dressings are required that delicate skin can withstand.

Despite her illness, Ksenia holds on and does not lose heart - and you can help the young dreamer forget about the pain. The Butterfly Children Foundation is raising funds to send a box of expensive but much needed medicines to Crimea - it will include bandages and dressings, as well as a wide range of healing creams and ointments.
