The mother had to carry the boy in a heavy, very uncomfortable pram or even carry him in her arms. But the child is now 9 years old and it's getting harder.

The mum wrote: "I would like to thank once again your foundation and all the people who participated in the fundraising for my son Maxim.

The pram is comfortable, maneuverable, much lighter than our old one and I can at least lift it myself. Now it will be comfortable for moving around with Maksim and I won't have to carry him in my arms.

A big motherly thank you to all caring hearts for responsiveness, help and support. We wish everyone health, happiness and prosperity🙏".

Maxim really needs a lightweight wheelchair for trips to treatment, school and outings

Maksim was born as a result of a difficult birth, with asphyxia - oxygen starvation of the brain.

This led to the diagnosis of cerebral palsy and many related conditions.

Maksim is now 9 years old and is making good progress. The boy is even going to school. But he cannot walk independently yet.

A light and comfortable wheelchair is needed for all the movements. The mother has to take the child to hospital, to rehab, to school and for walks. A heavy wheelchair, especially in bad weather, may be too much to handle. Carrying a growing boy in your arms is not an option either.

A pram will enable the child to lead as full a life as possible and to develop further thanks to the specialist assistance.

Let's help Maksims and get him a pram which is unaffordable for an underprivileged family!
