The boy was born with a cleft of the hard and soft palate. While correcting these defects, they missed hearing loss. When mom noticed that her son was not responding well to sounds, he already had grade 2 hearing loss. The free devices that Markaru put on could not provide clear sounds. Because of this, he lagged behind in speech development.
