At last Veronica's long-awaited bicycle arrived. It was exactly as she had hoped for: on big stable wheels, in the most beautiful green color. The pedals have special fasteners for her feet (because of her diagnosis Veronika can hardly feel her feet, that's why it's so important to fix them on the pedals). And there is a high backrest to lean on when tired. And there's a roomy trunk in which you can take all your favorite dolls with you on a trip. Now every walk - it is also a workout for the weakened muscles of the arms, legs and back.

Veronica's mother wrote to us, "Many thanks to everyone who helped her daughter's dream come true. Now her walks are no longer passive sitting in a stroller, but active and productive workouts. Veronica really enjoys riding her bicycle. She is thrilled to be able to ride on her own!"

The exercise bike for Veronica

Veronica is 5 years old, she is a cheerful, laughing, cheerful little girl. She is her parents' favorite daughter. She loves to sing songs, listen to audio books and knows dozens of poems by heart.

Veronica also has spina bifida - a severe congenital disease of the spine. Because of it the girl cannot walk. She moves around the house on all fours. And on the street her mother takes her in a regular baby carriage.

Veronica dreams of playing tag with the children in the yard. And it is possible! The foundation's physical therapist, who looks after the family, picked up a special bicycle for Veronica. It has three wheels and special fasteners on the back and pedals. Veronica will be able to move around on it. She would be able to play with the children in the yard. In addition, the bike will help Veronica strengthen her leg and back muscles.

But a family from Vladimir, where only dad works and mom takes care of a disabled child, doesn't have money to buy an expensive special bike.
